Great place within 10-12 minute walk of cathedral and castle. Food in restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.

Very basic accommodation without wifi in the rooms. Breakfast poor. Staff friendly and helpful.

Well-run hotel
Posted 15 May 2018 on HotelsOur room at the Sierra y Cal was very comfortable and clean. Our room had a nice enclosed (and very private) patio. The hotel staff were very helpful and highly professional. The location is excellent—within walking distance of many restaurants and the historic sites in town. Olvera has a lot of charm and few tourists. I only had a few minor complaints. First, the internet didn’t work in our room, but it worked fine in lobby. Second, the patio had no furniture. It would have been nice to have a patio chair.

Posted 7 Sep 2014 on HotelsThe hotel is conveniently situated in Olvera and although there was no car park attached to the hotel, we did not find any problem in parking on the street close-by. My only quibble about the room would be the lack of mirror in the room for make-up etc - and a full-length mirror would probably be appreciated by most female guests!

Best place to stay in Olvera
