Nice hotel but restaurant staff needs improvement.

The morning service in the Restaurant/Bar was very disappointing as the staff was rude when I mentioned there was a missing order of coffee or when I asked for the check. This happened two days in a row. We did mention this rude behavior to the supervisor of the restaurant. Additionally, the carpet and floor on the fourth floor was stained and very dirty. Outside the elevator, it seemed like there was a bump and hole in the concrete.

Pros: Modern rooms and comfy bed, decent shower (no bath).
Cons: Being very fussy, the pedal bin in our room was broken.
Location: Opposite Mercodona supermarket.
We stayed for one night whilst sorting our new Spanish property. The receptionist on duty was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is right opposite Mercadona supermarket, luckily our room had a view out the back across the garden and on towards the mountain. Not sure the experience would be as enjoyable if we had a supermarket view. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and they had an English version of the menu which was useful.

I haven't tried the restaurant, however I have heard from the locals that it is great.

Pros: The hotel was clean, modern with lovely gardens and a good restaurant.
Cons: I was surprised that there was no swimming pool as there was a gym
Location: The hotel was easily accessible from a new motorway. It is not really a tourist area but is between the coast and the Sierra Nevada
We stayed there as we were house hunting in the area
