Disappointed
Posted 16 Mar 2024 on HotelsFood was very poor quality at the hotel and little selection available.
Our dinner was badly seasoned, the onion on the cod fish was extremely burnt.
The deserts are clearly not home made and purely industrial.
We order a wine bottle and not only the waiter brought the bottle opened, we are unclear if the wine we ordered was the wine served.
Regarding the parking lot, there’s a chimney fuming all night, my car was covered in ashes in the morning.
I’m not coming back to this hotel, and it’s such a shame because the location is beautiful.

Beautiful relaxing hotel

Swimming pool towels are old with stains.

The property mentions there is no front desk, however, there is one and it made me safe to know that someone was there 24/7. The property itself is beautiful, quiet, and clean. It’s location is the only downside since you have to drive through some sketchy back roads to reach it. It is safe to say, though, the drive is worth it. The room came with a everything needed, it was clean, and I really loved how eco-friendly everything was! The staff was nice as well.

Pros: The calmness and quietness
Location: Very quiet area Not alot to do in area unless you want to get to know rural Portugal . Plenty of walking areas but no maps available from Hotel
We enjoyed the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. A big library but we couldn't find any guides to the area in there
