We arrived late and the office graciously stayed open until 9:30. The heater fan ran intermittently, couldn't get it to run continuously so we could sleep, so we ended up shutting it off. The Lodge website has no info on amenities so we didn't know if there was a 'fridge or coffee maker

Having seen some negative reviews of this motel, I was leery about what I would find. What I found is nothing like what those bad reviews described. This is a simple, clean place, everything works, perfect for when you just need a place to sleep. There's an all-night convenience store across the road, restaurants are a short drive, although I was content to stay in my room. I would stay there again next time I need to be in that area.

Great little country motel. Bed was on the hard side. But clean and quiet.

This room smelled awful- the paint was peeling in the bathroom and there was just a doorknob lock on the door. Very disappointed!
