There was dusk on the tables, the windows were dirty, and there whas a lot of humidity

The Gym is a joke. It is filthy and has no water or towels, so it has tiny, dirty carpets in the hallways.

The hotel itself was just fine, but the area around it was full of people doing drugs and just “hanging around” all hours of the day. This was the first time I ever felt the need to check and see if my car was still in the lot in the morning. The hotel is walkable to several nearby restaurants but I wouldn’t recommend walking even a block in the area. We tried and did not feel comfortable or safe at all. It’s unfortunate because the hotel was actually nice and a good value, but the hotel beside Hawthorn that appeared to be vacant seems to be a magnet for unwanted foot traffic and behavior. They also lock the lobby at 8pm with no access without a room key card which confirmed to us that the hotel wasn’t in a very safe area. Woke up one morning and went to get something out of my car and there was a hoard of officers and fire trucks outside handling someone from the vacant-looking hotel next door.

The property was clean and had a nice Kitchenette the only issue was that there are various things broken or falling apart - TP holder was detaching from the wall, the Dispenser in the shower was coming undone, the closet rack was falling down... random things like that. Didnt detract from the overall bang for your buck.

Let me start off by saying thought I was at the wrong hotel based on all the reviews. I accidentally drove past the hotel and there’s a cabaret like right around the corner. Lots of homeless people and asking for money. I asked the front desk if this place was safe and she assured me yes but to bring all valuables in with me and front doors lock at 8.
Arrive in the room and there was a red colored stain on the carpet and the chair covered in stains. (I took pics so I wouldn’t be charged) I called the front desk multiple times with no answer. Went to the front and she just shrugged around it and I said I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be charged for it and she assured me they knew… sorry that’s disgusting.
I was at the end of the hall which is right next to the noisey highway and could hear every door closing and the ppl above me sounded as if they were moving furniture all night. I even had a sound machine and tv on which didn’t help at all.
Pet friendly hotel which is great but all the grass areas outside were just full of dog poop. I understand that’s a dog owner thing but still disgusting.
I highly encourage people to avoid. Especially someone traveling solo.
