Do not judge the book by its cover. This place will bring you back to your childhood and tie in so much area history with it.
Each room, even the closets are named for Presidents that had some type of influence to this area, most good but a couple bad.
Each guest room has its own unique style decor and history.
There is a library, a gymnasium( yes, just like you remember from 1960’s stage and all) and wonderful area they serve a delicious breakfast.
It was an experience anyone who wants to explore something different than most.

City school converted to B and B. Historical room themes. Each room is giant and still has aspects of the school classroom. Available full kitchen would make it an ideal place for a longer term stay. Very clean. Friendly owners. Breakfast was excellent. Great place to stay when visiting colleges in area (easy 30 minute drive to most)

Host Jim and Donna were incredible. They couldn’t have done any more to improve our experience. Breakfast was awesome. Will stay there again.

The Sherman's Inn is very historic and Jim and his wife were very warm and hospitable to all of us. We enjoyed the room, the company and the wonderful breakfast we had. It's THE place to stay when you're in Ogsdenburg or anywhere in the area.
