We have stayed here before. Always a great place. We did have really slow or no internet…..that’s our only complaint.

Internet and property advertises restaurant and lounge at hotel. It’s been closed since Covid. I asked why they still advertise they have a restaurant. Did not get an answer. The hotel room was dirty. Dust built up on the furniture and lamps. They don’t clean your room until you leave. The hot tub was supposed to be white on the inside but was brown. Another amenity for disappointment. I brought my 2 grandkids. I didn’t realize the entire little town was basically closed. Upon further reviewing it sounds like the Quinault Casino is the only hotel that’s been renovated. I sent pictures to my family. They said get a refund and leave. I wouldn’t expect a clean room.

The property is very outdated and in need of repairs. The restaurant and lounge are still closed from Covid ??? But the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

This Shilo Inn property is very old and is showing it. It is definately due for a remodel. The colors, the furniture, the carpet, and the beds are all very old. With all the Airbnbs and other rentals coming in the market it would be sad to see this hotel shut down. Why is the restaurant closed?. Nobody knew. I would like to highly compliment the front desk person who checked us in, Jesse. He was very professional and helpful. I called the front desk around 9pm on Friday night as our neighbor was smoking pot in their room and out in the balcony. Our room was consumed by the smell which started up allergies. He immediately came up to check on the smell and agreed it was very strong on the balcony. He very quickly got us a new room down the hall and brought us a cart so we could move. His quick actions should be commended and his professionalism should be acknowledged. Jesse is an employee that went above and beyond and my sister and I appreciated everything he did for us. Thank you Jesse!!!

Our room was very spacious and cozy. The hotel is very conveniently located, you can walk easily to every one of our personal favorite spots. Easily a new favorite spot.

It is sad to see how dated these hotels are and see no hope for renovation? We will not be coming back to Ocean Shores.

The Shilo is convenient, but the price was a little steep for what we walked into. Keycards are unreliable, no towels on the room upon arrival, bathroom had a hairball in the shower, a beer cap in the lounge area, and we had limited hot water at shower time. The North exit door lock was busted so the door is just propped open it get ready to walk. The staff was nice enough, but phones to get ahold of them were also unreliable. The steam room is phenomenal, sauna works great, hot tub was hot pool was perfect temperature, and they were checking chemicals frequently. This is a pet friendly hotel which is also very much appreciated, but if your pet is needy, or noisy check with the rules before you book, it could get pricey real quick. The outside would be a pressure washer’s dream job. There seems to be an endless supply of handyman jobs to keep someone busy, but it appears to not have a handyman.
