Everything was good. The staff was excellent and the breakfast good but lacked variety. It would be nice if breakfast hours were extended by an hour and had a few more options.

Expedia needs to better explain the fees that this hotel has. We were forced to cancel since they surprisingly wanted to charge us $150 for our pet. And they did not return the money we had already given because the room we chose was non-refundable. Very bad experience!!

In the future, we recommend double-checking the pet policy for any room you plan to reserve, especially if you intend to bring a furry friend along.Unfortunately, as you mentioned, the room you chose was non-refundable, which means cancellations are subject to a penalty. I came back to Ocala to visit old friends in Stone Creek and this hotel is the nearest to where I used to live. Very new, clean and safe area. Wonderful staff. This is where I will stay next time I come back.

Very new and clean property! Lots of dining options within walking distance. As well as, a grocery store and coffee place. Decent free breakfast in the morning with good coffee. The only complaint is the bed and pillows are not comfortable.
