Best eggs for breakfast I've ever had.

Cheap, clean. But could use a small touch up

Small clean budget place
Posted 2 Feb 2020 on HotelsSmall, convenient private hotel in a village off the A7 highway. Nothing special here except for good value. My room’s roof was a bit low in some areas. The tiny TV runs fine and there was good WiFi service. Everything well with the bathroom and okay breakfast. I’d check in again for value.

Very friendly and nice hotel
Posted 10 Aug 2019 on HotelsCame in around 9 o'clock in the evening for a stopover on the way home from vacation. Hotel is placed 3 km from A7, so easy to get to and still we didn't hear any noise from the traffic despite that it was a quite evening. Staff was exceptional service minded and the kitchen was still open even we were the only guest at the time. We had a nice meal and got a very good nights sleep in some very good beds. All in all the perfect place for a stopover and a very fair price.

Quiet, clean facility, and courteous staff. We spent two nights while exploring the near-by sites and rustic Hammelburg. The hotel is representative of this local area of Germany.

Good for a Quiet Night

Quiet and restful after a day's motoring!

Pros: Easy access from the motorway. Quiet and restful after a day's driving! Good value for money. Positioned in pretty scenery.
Cons: Personally, I like some hot food for breakfast.
Location: A lovely location in the country. There are lots of walks and these are marked out clearly.
We found Hotel-Gasthof Waldeck very quickly after leaving the motorway. Parking is free, and we enjoyed the view of the Bavarian countryside from the balcony of our first floor room. The room itself was very spacious, with comfortable bedding and a quiet atmosphere. We had our evening meal there too. The meal was from a simple menu but freshly presented. Local beer available too. Next morning, breakfast was a cold-buffet meal. Then back to the motorway quickly and easily, and heading for the far east of Germany.
