Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views and very helpful staff. Delicious food and convenient breakfast schedule. Situated on a hill outside of town, but I believe there is a good bus connection for those who don't fancy the climb. Great for hikers!

Posted 23 Jun 2017 on HotelsHotel is very nice but pricey for what it is. Unfortunately, the hotels.com website is inaccurate in its description. There was no air conditioning or separate sitting area as described. The room was also pretty small and the bathroom little more than a cupboard. A little disappointing for something that cost over 220 euros a night. On the plus side, probably the best breakfast buffet I have ever experienced in a hotel (which is a few) and the dinner buffet was also great.

surprise trip
Posted 18 Sep 2015 on HotelsWe travelled to Oberstdorf to visit our daughter who lives there while she is training as a figure skater on the German team. I have been there many times but it was my husbands first visit. The hotel is located in a beautiful area atop a hill. We enjoyed the ambiance. The spa could use a little updating as the steam and sauna were not turned on unless you request it and then it takes a long time to heat up. Other than that everyone is extremely helpful , and the food is delicious. We will definitely return .

A perfectly fine place to stay for the night. Not in the category of the true 5-star hotels, but nice enough.
