i really loved my stay there. the rooms are clean and the view i had from my room was of a cute little river at the back of the hotel. also enjoyed the sauna

Fantastic character hotel set in the foothills of the Black Forest. Friendly helpful staff and good dining in the evenings. Breakfast was good with a decent choice. The area is quiet and perfect for touring and walking, but also well linked for a train or bus into Freiburg.

Peaceful Getaway
Posted 14 Apr 2023 on HotelsWe had such a great time relaxing in such a quiet and beautiful setting. Each staff person we encountered was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 29th anniversary! Our dinners were fantastic, and the servers were warm and accommodating.
The only thing that was missing was dish soap in the kitchenette. It would make washing the pots/pans easier.
