This is a basic hotel which was reflected in the price when compared to others but for one night was what we needed. Convenient for access to the motorway & on to gelsenkirchen where we were heading.
A few criticisms:
1 - for €12 the breakfast was basic.
2 - parking is tricky particularly for larger vehicles when the car park is nearly full.
3 - when we used the shower water flooded under the door for the shower cubicle & on to the floor of the bathroom.

Great stayover when visiting Oberhausen for a concert of just shop for a couple of days
Located on a walking distance to the mall and concerts. Will definitely visit again

The hotelier extended a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival and also stopped for a brief chat the following day. I was amazed to find he remembered me from previous stays, which were before Covid!
I love this hotel's breakfast buffet. It includes healthy as well as more indulgent options to set you up nicely for the day.
For any travellers arriving late: reception isn't staffed 24 hours, but they have a digital checkin machine, which allows you to get your room access number simply by entering your booking reference. Short and sweet.
My favourite base for when I visit relatives in Oberhausen :-)
