A terrific place to stroll Oberammergau
Posted 29 Sep 2018 on HotelsAn adorable and spacious lodging right in the center( ok. On a side street so no traffic noise at all). Bounteous breakfast. Great staff at the desk and the breakfast lady was a sweet and efficient worker. My room was prepped every day while I was enjoying breakfast. Lovely sound of church bells the only sound at night. I’m not a tv watcher but there were flat screen TVs too.

Pros: Size and furnishings in room, balcony, location.
Location: Central location in Oberammergau. Lots to do there - alpine coaster, cable car, shopping.
Stayed here one night. Nice hotel, good location, very comfortable room. Huge private balcony. Decent breakfast.

Lovely stay for one night .very touristy .hotel lovely and quiet, lovely little balcony to sit out ,didn't have breakfast so can't coment on food ..would stay there again .

Pros: Cleanliness, size of room
Cons: Can't help street noise
Location: It was a bit difficult to find due to lay out of streets, but with google maps we stumbled into it after several tries.
Very clean, newly remodeled bath, nice size room, beds were a little uncomfortable, no a/c so street noise was often through the night. We would visit again. Staff very kind, found key easily for after hours check in. We were there for only 12 hours.

Convenient stop over in Oberammergau
Posted 3 May 2017 on HotelsPleasant place to stay in the Oberammergau/Etta area. Parking available and many dining options nearby. Staff was pleasant and available. Fairly standard room, but convenient place to stay as a stop over to the many local sites.

Can't say enough good. Wonderful hospitality, clean comfortable homey room. Breakfast well worth the $8euros. The only knock is to bring your own soap. I'm glad we did.

Cozy, charming place to stay
Posted 17 Feb 2016 on HotelsStayed here for a second time, since we loved it the first time around. Still a great place. Room was spacious, breakfast delicious and service friendly. Only complaint is that the Wifi went out at night so I had to get up early to send some work. Still a great hotel and we'll stay again next time.

thanks for your review and coming back for the second time to our Hotel.
In terms of the wifi, we have a night shut off btw. 2AM and 5AM. This reflects our idea of eco tourism, to give our guests at least for a short time at night a gap of electro smog free wifi area. . In terms of health and part of our ecology strategy ( please see our Umwelt Siegel, Umweltpakt Bayern ), this is on of these steps, but sure we understand that some are in need of 24/7 wifi access.

Nice hotel but check out time in morning too early
Posted 20 Jan 2016 on Hotelsvery nice hotel however check in time (mid afternoon) and check out time (much too early) made us feel that we could not really relax. In the morning we had to get up early and rush thru breakfast so as to be able to take a quick shower and pack our bags to leave by 10 am. We came during the "low" season so there were very few guests in the hotel. I found it surprising that the hotel needed 5 hours between check out and check in time to ready a room when most of the rooms were empty. It would be nice to allow guests a relaxing morning rather then rush them out of the hotel so early.

Id like to clarify that check out time is per guidelines 10.30AM not 10AM - please see your reservation terms. If needed and guests ask, we try to adopt guests check out time to 11AM. Simply ask, we try to make it happen. Best regards
