Spotless no problems with this property the host met us on arrival with a worm welcome Room was excellent with a small fridge in room with water and milk for tea or coffee would recommend this property for a stay in orban

Lovely lodging facility. A bit of a walk from the train station with luggage, but doable. Very clean and comfortable.

Lovely place to stay, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Oban. No traffic noise and a comfy bed means a good night's sleep. Friendly welcome and departure. No dining, but only two mins walk to local cafe/bar for an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Owner refused to put on heating till 4pm, checkin was freezing and very wet day

Hi Hilary,This was not the case the heating comes on for guests arriving for 4pm. Had we known you were arriving at 2pm the heating would have been adjusted. If you were feeling it a little cold all you had to do was ask or turn it on yourself. it seems a pity that you didn't ask as this spoiled your stay. if you were disappointed why didn't say on departure instead of the opposite and tell George, you had a enjoyable stay! Located close to the centre of Oban and only a short walk uphill from the Main Street, this cosy and attractively furnished guest house is a good choice for visitors to Oban.
Friendly owners live on site and have plenty of local knowledge to share.

What a lovely place to stay! I had the best sleep of my trip here in those GLORIOUS bed linens (beds are amazingly comfortable). The owner is a delight, and it's a very quick walk to town. Enthusiastically recommended!
