Brydone Hotel is in the historic Victorian section of Oamaru. It is within walking distance to the pier and boardwalk. Also within walking distance of shopping. They have a Happy Hour from 4:30-6:30pm. Very cozy restaurant with great coffee and breakfast.

Stayed 3/24 for 1 night. Big old grand pub with clean functioning rooms. Had lift to first floor. Helpful staff. Located in town central. Rex W.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. Our room, number 10, in the original building, was very small and had a dismal outlook. The car park is at the rear of the hotel, and to take luggage from our car meant a very long walk through multiple communal dining/conference/social areas. The hotel has a faded elegance, and we would not recommend this hotel.

Huge room and huge bathroom in impressive old building with great staff and services.. Very enjoyable stay..
