Pros: the staff and the atmosphere. They were so friendly and helpful
Cons: change towels everyday
Location: Nysted is a lovely town. We enjoyed just walking all around town. There was a pizza place that had incredible pizza and a pastry shop next door.
I enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were efficient and friendly and we had everything we needed. the view was beautiful. It was a cute little European town. I would go back and visit in a heart beat.

Too old fashioned

Pros: It is in a pretty area!!
Cons: Everything about this hotel can be improved.
Location: There is nothing to do nearby. There was 1 small pizza place open to eat. We could find nothing else in town.
The reservation was made early. The confirmation I printed said that the reception area would be open until 9:00 PM. It also said if we did not arrive by 6:00 PM to call ahead and make arrangements. We arrived at 5:00 PM. All of the doors to the reception area were locked and no one was there. We finally find a groundskeeper who told us the rooms were unlocked. We unloaded our luggage so we could find a place for dinner. The doors to the rooms would not lock. We spent a good 15 minutes trying to lock the doors but could not. The rooms were out of date, a light bulb was burned out, and there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. I received a bill from the manager saying I did not pay. There was NOONE to pay!!!! Now she wants me to make a bank transfer to pay but the instruction are impossible for me to decipher. We should be able to pay with a credit card. This hotel was very expensive for being substandard and having absolutely no staff.
