Excellent accommodation in Old Nuremberg. Wonderful location surrounded by shops, cafes and bars. Staff were friendly, room was clean, tidy and spacious. Would recommend.

The hotel has a serious staffing problem - reception closed at 1pm the day of our arrival and 2pm when we departed. This was a problem; we needed a place to leave our luggage until our train at 6pm and quite reasonably expected to do so at our hotel, but we were denied. Otherwise, Gideon is a first-rate hotel, which makes the service failure really glaring and troublesome.

Great hotel. Came In late at night after hours and had easy instructions on how to get our key from the safe. Great rooms, clean . Only problem was we weren’t able to stay another night .

Posted 4 Jan 2024 on HotelsBrilliant location - walkable to main Xmas markets, train station, the Castle and lots of shopping/food, staff were lovely, room was a good size and overlooked one of the lovely streets with Christmas decos. Really happy with this hotel and would stay here again for sure.

Nice place, room even small but neat and tidy. Convenient in public transport and city centre.
