On arrival, there was no receptionist at the desk, and I had to wait some time before someone came to assist me. The room was clean and tidy.

The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the full English Breakfast during our stay. On the first night, we arrived back to our room late and found the heating was not working, The room was very cold. We called the after hours number and didn't get an answer. We ended up sleeping fully dressed with our coats on. The next morning, I address the issue with the lady at the front desk. She was very apologetic, and brought a portable heater to our room. We were much warmer the second night. If it wasn't for the heating issues, I would have given a higher star rating.
