Posted 18 Oct 2019 on HotelsThe pictures of the rooms are very photoshoped. Romes are clean, but rundowned and suffer off water damage or something like it.... the stuff was OK, nothing special. The guy in the breakfast restaurant was nice. Pool is amazing, but requires cleaning.
Spa was the most strange experience - nobody was there, but one girl that was doing the massages as well as managing the place??? It was not very clean or relaxing, not very clear what was the purpose of half of the facilities...
Location of the hotel requires having a car and using it - for us it was not an issue. Although - one should take under consideration that going to dinner in Noto will include a 20 min/ drive.
In general - not sure what are they trying to make there - it is nor a resort and its not a rural/rustic vacation.... Will not recommend

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Though the photos of the panoramic rooms may look enticing do NOT be deceived for that is about all they have going of them. We could not even stay the night at this place. Upon walking into the room I was overwhelmed by a extremely strong potent floral cleaning smell, probably used on purpose to cover up the old smell of the room. The bed was old, dingy and hard as a rock. I couldn’t bear to touch the blanket on the bed as it did not look clean. The room looked very old and it is in desperate need of an upgrade. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money as I did here, had to leave and find a new hotel, terrible experience.

It was in a good location to get about easily to Noto and the beaches. Great views from the resort, especially from the balcony in our room. Great place to relax and unwind. There is a steep long walk up to some of the rooms from the main building and swimming pool, some people drive up and down. The menu at the restaurant is also a bit limited, but the food is average but the staff are great.

Great spot for a relaxing trip

At arrival my only disappointment: my “studio with a view”, that looked great online, was actually 1 mile up a steep road - that I’d have to drive back and forth to use the hotel dependencies (Club house bar, restaurant and pool), not to mention that their spa is actually “off site” - 3 min away.
No wine drinking for me!!
Everything else is amazing!
The pool is heavenly, the food over diner was yummy and the spa was the best surprise.
Including a check in discount coupon, my 4 hands, 1h long massage, including sauna, jacuzzi & steam room use cost a small fraction I’d pay for back home.
I just melted under their hands!
Highly recommended!
And if you don’t mind privacy - at the cost of driving uphill - the studios are super pretty.

could have found a room more suited to the

Fine but watch the owners dog poo
Posted 29 Jul 2019 on HotelsLovely place in good location and internals v.clean but owners roaming dogs left mess around our Chalet and made lots of noise at night. reception took 36 hrs to have the poo cleared up....not great with kids running about. Some staff very friendly / lovely but most (older folks) indifferent.
