Funky hotel in good location. Moody lighting which could be hard for those with not-great eyesight. Bed a bit soft. But overall enjoyable.

Overall a great property. Rooms are very comfortable and staff are wonderful. Only suggestions for improvement would be removal of rubbish during the room clean and perhaps better options for those seeking more than vegetarian food (as the onsite restaurant is vegetarian)
Will certainly be back

Love staying here for the quiet rooms and styling. Some elements are getting a little tired and stay seemed a little unsure off themselves at times. Love the free mini bar but missed bubbles on arrival that we've had before.

Overall a lovely stay however the walls were quite thin and we could hear the others snoring, loud breathing and children crying right behind our bed.

Property, location and room was excellent, as was reception staff. Service team in the breakfast restaurant were terrible - not trained, undirected and extremely poor service.

A unique experience unlike anything else. Words cannot describe the character and vibe of Nishi Ovolo. You have to experience it to believe it. If a traveller is looking for a “conventional hotel” go somewhere else, this gem is for the discerning.

Darker than a Batman movie
Posted 10 Mar 2024 on HotelsIt's clean and well located but I wouldn't book it if you like natural light. I paid a little extra for what I thought would be a better room and ended up with an "Atrium Room" which put me below ground level looking out into the Atrium. This meant that even in the middle of the day my room was in near total darkness.

I liked the design of the public areas and the room design. The bed was very comfortable
I enjoyed the choices for the breakfast.
