While the front desk staff was not rude, she was not friendly and made no eye contact. The messages she sent checking on our welfare did not seem sincere. I know the carpet is hard to keep clean on the beachfront, so perhaps for this level of accommodations, hotels should consider tile floors. The carpet looked very dirty and seemed unsafe.

I was not expecting a $20 per day charge for parking for the one vehicle that we drove. This fee should have been including in the rate we paid to stay!!!

Stayed for husband's birthday. he woke up to a beautiful sunrise right in our bedroom daily from the 7th floor. Front desk staff gave us a free coupon to ride the bikes located in the parking lot of the hotel - that will definitely burn some calories but we had so much fun riding together! Food was amazing - Kung Fu tea, the 'Captain' at Dough Boys and Hadiya at Pocahontas did right by us! Husband now wants to purchase VA Beach oceanfront property - overall lovely stay.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was super friendly. Great view, and right next to the Atlantis statue. It is about a mile of a walk if you want to get to any of the shops, the pier, or other attractions.
