"The hotel itself was comfortable. Staff were pretty friendly - breakfast staff were lovely. Asked for body wash snd hair conditioner to be topped up to no avail! Breakfast was excellent Hotel was in the wrong place for us! The short walk to the Excel which I envisioned as a stroll along the waters edge was actually a hike along the roads avoiding all the building works! Likewise the walk to the London cable car. Best access was to take the DLR to Custom House. DLR was 5 mins walk but not...

"Lovely scenic, quiet area within 2 mins walk of plenty of restaurants and pubs etc. Hotel staff friendly and efficient, breakfast was lovely (a lot of selection for a continental, including Douwe Egbert coffee machine). Only recommendation is to improve eco side - remove single use plastics (toiletries) and individual coffee packets from rooms."

"I may be bias: I have stayed there many times. Just ordered a general room and they gave me an older suite. More room and air conditioning. You could close the windows. Generally there is much noise on the outside....not a problem with the AC. Staff friendly. They are remodeling many rooms isolated no noise near my room. For the price, I would recommend."
