Lovely stay, but sad to see so many restaurants have shut down in the area due to Covid

Fortunately, Ghirardelli Square remains fully leased and is filled with locally approved restaurants and high-end boutiques, making it a vibrant destination. Wonderful location, hotel is very nice, restaurant is good. They did not have in room spa services as advertised, and the bed was hard and lumpy and possibly the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in - but other than that the rooms were well designed and comfortable and clean.

I saw earlier reviews and not at all it is a wonderful property. Bad bathrooms, charge for water, minimum stuff, carpet rooms with no slippers in the room, in my opinion expensive for what you get. Location is very good tough.

Loved this property and the location. Lots of restaurants to choose from, can walk to pier 39 and 33 easily, there is a CVS a few blocks down to get essentials and snacks. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The hotel is amazing, location is perfect, checking in was a breeze. Just save yourself from the restaurant. The service is great but the food is seriously gross. There’s so many amazing restaurants in SF highly suggest not eating here.
