Lovely nostalgic items filled the home but the mothballs gave us both a bit of a headache and the springs in the bed did not make for a restful sleep for my hips. Other than that the place was perfect

An absolutely delightful 100-year-old home filled with charm and character. The owners are stellar hosts who served a full delicious English breakfast. Highly recommended for those seeking a quiet country setting.

Great quiet place to stay
Posted 4 Dec 2023 on HotelsFantastic stay in a lovely quiet location (watching the blue wrens hop around the grounds was one of my favourite things) Very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Hosts, Karen and John, very friendly and gave great local tips/knowledge. Throughly recommend and would stay again if we are back in Oz.

While this is an older home and reminded me of my grandfather's house, Karen went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy. The internet worked superbly and allowed us to catch up on things. Breakfast was incredible!

Lovely decor as the property is obviously a labour of love. Also, the hosts were very attentive. Not forgetting a very tasty breakfast.
