a very good budget option close to train station

The hotel rates were super high during the Nagaoka fireworks festival. And I was lucky to find this hostel for a transit after the fireworks. The place is lovely and everything is clean. Very convenient location which is within 5min walk to the Nagaoka train station A great option if you are traveling alone on a budget.

チェックインからチェックアウト。 こちらの不手際で忘れ物をしてしまったのですが、それも含めて大変丁寧かつ親切に対応していただきました。 海外の方も多数。単独の日本人の方も多数利用されていました。 シャワールームやトイレも十分な数共用利用出来る状態で非常に清潔感がありました。 駅前の飲食店を含むビルの中にありますが中は、完全別空間で本に囲まれた秘密基地のような感覚でしっかり休めます。 ちょっとした音に対しても耳栓の配慮などかありドミトリーの弱点を補われています。 価格、立地、環境すべて整っています。

ネカフェに泊まるくらいならここで

Pros: 価格と「知らない人と友達になれるかもしれないシチュエーション」に対する期待感。投稿者はダメでしたが。
Cons: 敢えて言えば室内に置き時計、洗面所にティッシュが欲しかったところ。
Location: 新潟駅のほぼすぐ横、右斜め向かいにビックカメラ、1ブロック隣にレンタサイクルの貸し出し所と文句なし。機会があれば次も利用します。
ネカフェ＋カプホという感じ。値段重視の外国人観光客が多いらしく当日も団体6人が談笑していたが深夜には寝静まっており、何より寝具が清潔だったので、入館時こそ戸惑ったものの翌朝まで熟睡できました。反面独りじゃないと安眠できない人にはお勧めしかねるかも。

A nice stay

A bit difficult to find (no exterior sign) so look for 菊地k第一ビル(kikuchi dai ichii building) it will be on its 4th floor. Close to Niigata station and commodities but away from the city's main touristic sites. Staff was adorable, beds are comfy and the place is clean.

Just few minutes walk from JR station, and very close with the Main Street for foods n convenient store. The font desk staff very helpful n they let me keep luggage overnight. Definitely will stay here again when I come Niigata

トイレ、シャワーゾーンが土足なのが残念。 土足ならシャワー室にカゴが置いてあったらいいなと感じました。

とても快適に過ごせます。新潟市にはゲストハウスが少ないので、貴重な存在です。
