Lovely hotel but we were charged to park.

The hotel was great but the parking was supposed to be free. We paid 7.50 euros for one night. Apparently free parking is to the side of the hotel but we were not told this on arrival and parked in the area marked as the hotel car park. On checking out we were advised we had to pay. Our booking included free parking so we were upset by this. We should have been advised on check in which bays were free and which were not. All parking is outside so not easy to work out.

Great hote, smart, claen and a peaceful vibe

Great hotel, everything was good, from the initial welcome to saying goodbye. Be aware that using the hotel car-park has a fee and I wasn't told that on arrival, but that's no big issue. The town is quite isolated, there are a couple of other bars and restaurants, and the ones in the hotel are good, but if you need a taxi be wary of the cost. No air-conditioning and when I was there it was very hot, but there was a fan in the room which worked well. All-in-all I would recommend and would certainly stay there again.

Staff was really helpful. However in the morning, they started renovations in nearby rooms. Restaurant is something to check, food was delicious.

Boiling room

Pros: Conveniently located, good restaurant, friendly staff, quiet
Cons: Air conditioning in rooms, stones in sauna, better ventilation in bathroom, a mirror closer to the window
Our room needed air conditioning as the fan supplied in the room was not strong enough. It caused a lot of discomfort at nighttime.

The hotel was essentially in the suburbs of Chemnitz. The complex was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The complex is built like dorms which would serve its purpose very well for a lot of different types of customers, especially since the individual buildings are connected together underground. The layout is not as beneficial for the one night tourist stay. Staff was very professional, the reviews accurate.

There appeared to be a minimum of three Reception staff on duty at quiet periods but only one member of Reception staff on duty at peak times, i.e. early mornings.
