Great location, v nice staff, comfy rooms: winner!
Posted 2 Mar 2024 on HotelsBooked two nights during Carnivale de Nice as we had an early NCE flight after 2nd night.
Turned out to be an outstanding choice.
Staff were lovely from the moment we arrived around 1 PM Sat Feb 24th. Warm welcome by desk, provided early check in.
Room was spacious, nicely done, excellent sound proofing but not stuffy, great bathroom.
Nice to have complimentary water bottles, kettle, Nespresso in the room: extra pods provided to help us deal with our very early 2nd morning departure.
Staff on check out was just as nice as staff at check in. Despite it being 5 a.m. Monday Feb 26? Good humored & quite nice.
Common areas are stylish: pool area closed (winter) but would love to come when that is open!
TIP: Arv from NCE Terminal 2 be aware the #2 Tram is FREE to the Arenas stop, where you can buy a transit card & load it with rides inexpensively. Don't buy the 10 Euro RT card at NCE machines!
Arenas is the best stop for getting to/from Sheraton.
However, early AM? Just a 5 min walk across the avenue to NCE Terminal 1 & catch the shuttle bus to Terminal 2.
Sheraton is near Arenas Tram stop, multiple bus routes, and St Augustine train stop. You can literally go anywhere via tram or bus with your Transit card or French train system.
The ONE downside to this hotel: no decent restaurants close by: either need to walk a good 20 min or grab a tram. That wasn't a prob for us as we had plans in Nice but good to know.
Room did have a bar fridge to stash snacks.

Good for an airport hotel. Port Arenas with loads of lunch options is close by and so is Parc Phoenix, and the Museum of Asiatic Art.
