Upon entering, the house reeked of weed. Being allergic, I couldn't stop sneezing and blowing my nose! The room was nice, and the hosts were friendly. The "continental breakfast" was shameful though. For the amount that this place charges, maybe offer a plate of bacon and eggs? 3-day old croissants wrapped in plastic wrap, and make-it-yourself oatmeal is not what I consider a "continental breakfast".

Im very sorry you had that experience. We had another guest staying at the finlay house and they let us know they had a legal script for medicinal marijuana due to ptsd from their time served in the military. We thanked them for their service and told them no problem. As far as the plastic wrap on the coissants they were made the night before and they were wrapped because we have had some guests say they were still nervous about covid. We figured we would air on the side of caution. We hope that you come back to stay with us again and can offer you 25% off your next stay.

Unfortunately Patricia didn't know how to check her check in instructions that were sent to her. This is a bed and breakfast and our managers stayed way past checkin time to greet them but they did not arrive until 830 pm. I called to speak with them and explain that outside of check in time they would could be required to use the self check in instructions if the managers were out. They were very unreasonable to deal with and left upset.

Well maintained property, friendly hosts. Next time we're in Niagara on the Lake, will definitely book here.

The property is very clean, quiet, and very convenient. The only reservation I had was that the tv does not have regular tv channels. Everything is digital private stations. Perhaps the majority do not care about that but I do stay in places where that is not the case.
