Posted 31 Aug 2023 on HotelsThis is a a true gem. We were greeted by the owner, who gave us a brief history and tour of the inn. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb - eggs and bacon cooked to order, and a wonderful spread of fruits, bagels, yogurt, juice and coffee. The inn is located within walking distance of the transit center and waterfront, so there was no need to drive our car anywhere. It was a very warm and inviting experience, and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful hosts and delicious spread for breakfast. Accommodations were lovely. Location was a 10-15 min walk from the main dock area of Newport, which was perfect for us.

The room was very small, but clean and comfortable.
The grounds are heavily planted with flowers and shrubs, nice to look at.
Breakfast was exceptional, and attractively presented, with a large variety of fresh fruits, baked goods, wonderful bagels,
The hosts will cook to order as well.
All in all, I would recommend a stay

Such a great stay at The Sarah Kendall House! The Innkeepers and staff were amazing. Daily breakfast was over the top and the gorgeous furnishings and decor were beautiful.

Posted 29 Jun 2023 on HotelsLOVED OUR STAY AT THIS CHARMING BED AND BREAKFAST....EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL....LOVED THE BRANDY AVAILABLE TO ENJOY ON THE AMAZING FRONT PORCH....SERVICE AT BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN FRIENDLIER BUT SHE WAS VERY YOUNG AND FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!

It was a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens. The home is meticulously maintained. Brian was very welcoming and interesting to chat with. The breakfast was top notch! Would definitely stay again!
