Hotel is in disrepair. Strong smoke smell in a non-smoking room. The last straw was NO hot water.

Much better than Cobblestone. They actually clean the rooms and bring clean towels everyday. They are still remodeling the rooms. So they will keep getting better.

It would of been great if eggs, bacon, and sausage was served for breakfast. Also, no gym was available as advertise! Other than that the staff was polite and the cleaning service was great!

The stay was ok. For the price I guess. It wasn’t awful. The room smelled like it had been smoked in for a long time and had absorbed into the walls/furniture, the kind of smell you really can’t get rid of without extreme deep cleaning, and was a bit of a musty/mildew maybe smell also. The ceiling had severe water damage, probably attributing to the smell. The bed was not super uncomfortable but not exactly great. Otherwise it appeared to be clean and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast left much to be desired. We probably won’t stay there again, and I wouldn’t recommend taking kids considering the possibility of mold in the room.

Conveniently located in town. Budget friendly. Kind staff. Comfortable beds.
Broken furniture. Unsafe breakfast conditions- cold food was not in any type of cooling container and milk was very warm by the time we went to breakfast halfway through eating hours. The little cream cheese cups also were out for hours. Waffle batter ran out each day before eating hours were over. We ended up buying our own milk and orange juice from Walmart (a few doors down) and taking it to breakfast with us just to eat the cereal and hoped for the possibility of waffles or biscuits and gravy if there was any left.
We were there before and after the solar eclipse and the days leading up to and after were like this. The only day that food was fresh and well stocked was the morning of the eclipse.
It’s certainly a dated building but one that is ok for a “place to sleep” but don’t expect much more. The non-smoking rooms (low-average condition) are in much better condition than the smoking rooms (poor condition).

There were people sitting outside their rooms in lawn chairs and we spoke with them. Very friendly neighbors.
There was glass broken in the bathroom and tissue was stuffed in the hole. Not very inviting. Tub was not very clean and needed some updating. Could have been a little cleaner. But office people were very friendly.
