Horrendous!!
Posted 17 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe worst place we've ever stayed! The flat was falling apart with the bedroom curtain pole hanging off the wall, crumbling walls and there was a slug by the bed! No underlay on the carpets so you could feel the sharp treads under your feet. No washing up liquid or soap etc to wash with. And bad communication from the company too. They took a deposit off me which I wasn't aware of upfront and then it took a good 10 days to get it back. I had to complain to hotels.com.
Do not stay here!

After asking by phone if we could enter early, did no let us know when arrived at property we rang to be told no, waited until time and they sent an email with codes to enter front door and flat. Could not open box to access key after some attempts ringing told us code was correct and sent video of how to open box, which we had done correctly. After two hours and at least twenty calls from me and my daughter we just got there was a queue to be answered but it was full. Then they just stopped receiving our calls. As we were booked to see a show and had spent considerable amount on tickets we had no choice but to leave and booked into hotel. Never rang once to see if we were ok.

Fair place for a short stay
Posted 29 Oct 2022 on HotelsFair condition for the price, clean, warm flat. Very high place so there is an annoying echo. All kitchen equipment, electric shower, iron with board but nothing to clean. Not even a dust pan. I was hard with 3 children. Good communication throughout the stay.

The promised damage deposit has NOT been refunded despite multiple calls and messages. TERRIBLE company.

The property was cold the fire didn't work the place stank, when I complained I was informed the the fire wasn't supposed to work. the mattress had been over turned due to the blood stains on it. The bathroom door wouldn't stay shut, there was no shower curtain over the bath there was holes in the bath, that looked like it hadn't been washed in months. The sink in the Kitchen leaked, the paper was coming off the wall. There were large gaps in the laminate flooring and chips in it . We were offered alternative accommodation that was miles away from where we needed to be Overall made me not want to visit Sunderland again.
