The pictures are a bit deceiving. The property is tightly packed in with other residences on the beach. And it's expensive for what it offers. The lock on the door was v basic--nothing like enough. The room could accessed by 2 different sets of stairs.
That said: The room was nice. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was healthy and fun. Plum Island nature preserve is right there. Newburyport has a lot of great dining options--just 10 mins away.

This Inn is amazing!! Wake up to the sound of the ocean and step out of your door right into the sandy beach! So tranquil and beautiful! The staff is amazing too! Wake up to a lite breakfast in a basket right outside your door! We can’t say enough good things!!😊

Right on the beach. Drove down in bad weather, it was worth the drive, great room, surf pounding, nice amenities

The views from the Blue Inn are amazing! Hearing the waves crashing on the beach is mesmerizing and can lull you in to a tranquil rest. In the morning we were delivered a delicious meal in a custom basket with fresh oj, a fruit smoothie a mini quiche and fresh coffee. Would certainly stay here again.
