Great hotel, great location. Jazz trio in the bar Saturday night was a nice bonus.

The area was great but the actual hotel wasn’t great. Customer service wasn’t great. We stayed for two nights and for the first night the hot water didn’t work. They couldn’t move us into another room because there was no availability. The second day the water was barely warm. I find a lack of hot water in a $500 a night room to be unacceptable.

We do not have issues with our hot water at the hotel, nor did we receive reports of the same on the first night which you stayed. Apologies if that did occur. You had specific room requirements that were not reserved, nor communicated to us until you arrived at the hotel, which we were glad to be able to accommodate at the last minute. That was also the reason that a suitable alternative room was not available. The Wallace has earned a reputation for phenomenal customer service as indicated on all review sites, including here. We regret that you did not feel the same way. Thank you for your feedback.

The Wallace really just gets you room. We had a suite but there was no pull out sofa..(and we had 2 kids with us) so we ended up w 2 queens suite. There is no food and minimal room service - pajamas just dumped on the beds towels not replaced or hung No soap refill- you get it all a phone call later - but it’s 4 star service. The room was clean and elegant. So- it’s almost an VRBO type situation. Location is great and many breakfast options in walking distance.

While we do not offer room service, as most small boutique hotels do not, we do offer food service in our lounge, nightly, from 5PM to 12 midnight. In a city such as New York, you can also have practically anything delivered to your room via a delivery app 24/7 and we facilitate those deliveries daily. Your suite is suitable for up to 4 adults. We do not advertise a sofa bed. We appreciate you rating our service 4 star, as it matches our star category, and wish you a wonderful day. Thank you.

The Wallace is a lovely hotel and the staff are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.
