We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Shelburne and will be back during our next time in New York. The rooms were large, especially for the City, and the staff were very friendly. Great location too near Grand Central Station and with several dining, coffee, and drink options nearby.

Good place to stay that is affordable compared to its nearby peers. Easy walk to Grand Central Terminal for quick access anywhere else in the city.

For the first night, I was given a small and fairly unclean room. The chair was even broken! I complained to the manager the next morning and was moved to a much nicer room on the same floor for the second night.

The Hotel is very well located and very easy to walk around NYC. Staff were outstanding always making sure to greeting when we were getting in or out.
I can't say too much about the room because we were privileged to be upgraded to a penthouse apartment which was pretty remarkable for us...
