Location: great
No toilet paper twice after asking a second time. I had to ask the maid for some from her cart.
Shower drain inoperative both days I stayed, no permanent fix after I asked.
Bed OK, room clean, staff functional. No more than 2 star, but convenient for my needs.

Great Location
Posted 9 Mar 2018I always try to stay at the Court. The staff is wonderful and location is close to Grand Central Station. Really good restaurant sin the area. The hotel needs updating but is still worth going.

Falling apart
Posted 4 Mar 2018 on HotelsThis hotel has not been properly maintained, there is practically no service and no one seemed to be in charge. We had to ask for toiletry and wash clothes upon arrival, and then help ourselves from the cart in the hallway. The carpet in the room was repaired with tape, the bathroom was rusted, furniture finish pealing. The heating system needed a maintenance person to make it work three times in a 7 day stay. The explanation for this disarray: this hotel will be closed at the end of April '18, so maintenance is at a minimum. The rating of 3.9 does not reflect today's reality - except for the location. This used to be a great place to stay during our past trips to NYC, not anymore.

Posted 26 Feb 2018 on HotelsThis place was really dirty. There was physical dirt, dust, stains and holes in most things, and I have attached a couple pictures for a sampling of the grossness. In addition, when I first arrived, I noticed that the toiletries in the bathroom had been used and there was no soap. When house-keeping came by the next day, they took away all the dirty towels, but didn't replace them. The bed was "made" like it had been made by toddler. By the way, if a toddler had made the bed like that, I would give them a gold star, but not a paid professional. No. In addition, the gym is not onsite. It's too bad, because the bar downstairs is really nice. That's about the only good thing I can say about this place.

Lovely staff. The hotel was a little tired and needed some decorational improvements, although it wad a beu comfortable room and the staff were very pleasant
