The area to leave your luggage pre/post check in with an open room that anyone from off the street could access. No security at all whatsoever. I would not recommend booking this hotel as there are plenty in the same price range and area that can accommodate traveling guests more professionally.

The property inside was beautiful. The staff efficient and friendly.
I disliked all the scaffolding in front of the hotel. It continued half way down on both sides of the street. Yet for the three days I was I saw not on single worker on this mass improvement project.!!

So, the ONLY negative is that there was NO hot water due to a pipe bursting!! Other than that, we would stay again. Very convenient to MSG. The hotel has a nice bar and an Indian infused menu. Room, bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable. Would have liked the property to do something for us for the inconvenience of no hot water, but nothing offered. BC we didn't shower we skipped doing other things in the city and left early to go home.

First day we decided to nap in the afternoon due to having left home early. Challenging to do because there were doors banging and a lot of noise in the hallway.
Temps dropped in New York our room was cold and my partner couldn’t sleep because the ac unit which was blowing cold air was also very loud. I called the front desk and asked that they look at it while we were out. Came back to a warm room and space heater.
Stay was otherwise ok. We were there for a concert at Madison Square Garden the location was perfect.
