This hotel was a very pleasant surprise! The property very clean, the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was great and the AC was EXCELLENT (especially on a hot New Orleans day) It’s close to a coffee shop which was very good.

Book the hotel April 13th with my relative for $488.11 $21.96 = $510.07. I told front desk prior to my stay, that I would be checking in late due to taking an exam. Receptionist (Saia) said that’s fine, just call before Friday (April 26th) before your stay to let the late night audit know that you’re still coming. I called to let them know I was still coming…no answer. I called at least 6 times and no answer. When I arrived at 3:45am at the hotel (Joseph) the late night receptionist was sitting on the couch, watching tv like he was at home. He didn’t even acknowledge that he didn’t answer the phone. He told me that my reservation never went through and that I would have to pay $538.69 upfront. In which, I bought the tickets earlier in the month. Then, he gave us our room key [#414]. We got upstairs and two men met us at the door, looking at us and said this is our room. So, I went back downstairs to ask for another suite, he gave us the suite right across [#415]. In the room: bathroom ceiling leaking, water on the floor, holes in the walls, and makeup all in the sheets. So…yet again, I go back downstairs, which now it’s almost 4:15am. All Joseph says is “oh ok, I guess I’ll give you another key.” Going into room [#413] the room smelled like mildew and moisture. Also the elevator shakes as it’s about to break down at any minute. Aside from that, In retrospect; I called the front desk on April 22nd to see if their pool will be open. The receptionist said yes it’ll be open

Took me 45 minutes to check in. Staff member was checking a guest with 5 rooms….there wasn’t another person to help until they were almost finished. The person checking on the large group was not competent and spent ALOT of time in small talk. Finally another person came to my rescue as I had been already waiting 35 minutes.

The property has bed bugs! I switched rooms and still got bit by bed bugs. The staff tried to help bit that is dirty.

The room smelled musty and moldy, damp and cold. The carpet had not been vacuumed and the tiled portion of the floor looked dirty. The common areas of the hotel were not clean. The floors needed sweeping and mopping. The oranges put out in a bowl in the breakfast area looked old. We checked out a day early because of the conditions in the room and the hotel. Don't stay here
