the room was very clean,,close to anemities would go back and stay again,,bed was really comfortable..check-in was really easy

Very convenient for my purpose, hospital. Modest but clean and comfortable.Missed little things like an extra pillow, a laundry bag and cups or glasses of some sort. Overall I would return again.

Clean and affordable, this is a great value option for bargain hunters.
Could use a little more in the way of amenities, such as an iron & ironing board, drinking cups in the room, extra blanket, etc. But overall, excellent value and I would stay here again. (This was actually my second visit).

Tara Inn is better than it looks and check-in was hassle-free, though different from what was in the listing. The listing information said there was no front desk but there IS a front desk right through the double doors you see in the picture. The rooms themselves are located in two separate buildings, strip-style, alongside the main building.
My room was clean and totally functional. I was advised at check-in that there was no coffee in the rooms due to COVID, but I could take a cup with me from the stack near the front desk. I should have, because there were no cups in the room. Despite COVID, other motels where I have stayed recently still had cups (wrapped in plastic) in the rooms, and this would have been nice, just to be able to draw a cup of water from the bathroom tap.
Nonetheless, my stay was entirely enjoyable (other than the man in the room next door smoking outside on the walkway and the wind being just the right direction to blow it into my room).
I have to return to New Glasgow in two weeks and have already booked Tara Inn for a second stay, so I think that says it all.
Good value, too.
