Overall the hotel was good value. The room was smaller than I would have liked and needed some repairs. The hotel had a good dining area. The car park was secure and large. The hotel was also conveniently located.

Expectations weren't high
Posted 10 Sep 2021 on HotelsVery basic hotel. Reception was pleasant but the room was not up to the standard expected from this chain. Special mention for the bathroom door which was nearly impossible to open from inside. I wonder how long it will take for an elderly person traveling alone to get stuck in there... Also only one room key was given, even though a key was necessary to keep the electricity on and to make the elevator function; as a result, if one person needs to go to the car or reception, the other waits in the dark. We've had better experiences in hotel chains further down the scale from this one. I would not stay there again.
