Great experience at the Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. Dean and Tomoko are great hosts, so friendly. We had a pretty little garden courtyard to sit in complete with three Fantails (Piwakawaka) flying around us. Will definitely stay here again!

Great attention to detail, lovely decor, planting in common areas, and patio. Very relaxed feel about Chelsea Lodge wished we could have stayed another night.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely bed and linens. We had a nice and private patio off our bedroom, which we used and enjoyed. Very walkable distance to many fine and recommended restaurants.

No Air Conditioning
Posted 1 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe rooms are good but there is no air conditioning as stated. Apparently there is only one room with air conditioning...and I didn't get that one. The room did get quite hot in the afternoon/evening. Despite having double glazing, the room was still quite noisy from road noise.
