We arrived to find out our hiking trip was cancelled but Megan at reception was an asset at helping us adjust our plans. We were still able to stay and have a fabulous hike. The hot tubs are super clean and great after a long walk. The restaurant and fireplace are so inviting. Kash is the best server and made us feel at home. The food was also delicious. We had everything we needed.

Staff were friendly and really helpful arranging schuttle to Tongariro. Food and bar is good.Nice cosy atmosphere.

Park Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bar and restaurant were really nice as well. The room was small and basic but the price was good value

Lovely stopover stay and convenient to the park. Good restaurant. Too bad the hot tub closed at 8pm
