Seven floors up with no elevator.
Posted 10 May 2023 on HotelsSeventh floor room with no elevator. You have to carry your baggage up 130 steps similar to a medieval castle. The room is fine but the trip up is challenging. Fortunately my wife wasn’t with me or I would have had to forfeit the rent and found a real hotel. If you like climbing this is the place for you.

Hi Ronaldthank you for comingFirst of all the studio is on the 6th floorThe building is a building of the XVII century,You want to stay in the historical center, you want a terrace, but you don't want to have stairs.The historical center it's protected by unesco so it's not allowed to put elevatorTo stay on the top floor has advantages-panorama-light-air-and CALMSo if you don't want to climb the stairs (first of all we suggest you to read well the descriptions, because it's written on our page, not elevator) and eventually you have to choose an apartment on lower floor.But in this case you won't have the advantages and you won't sleep

Terrible experience when you compare it with my other accommodations in Italy.
To begin with the place is in a super noisy neighborhood, ppl drinking in the streets past 2 am, the department is described as sound proofed but I heard all the screams and police in the streets. The building is old and therefore has no elevator (totally understandable) however the stairway is narrow and with no lighting at night (I arrived 8-9 pm) and this is a rooftop unit. The worst part was the dirt and debris in the unit. On top of the table next to the door, In the small patio/terrace, In the rug next to the bed. With mold stains in the seat cushions left next to the door. With greenish/blueish stains in the soap holder in the shower. On top of that the towels were wet!
I did not think it twice and left the unit next day. Found a way better option in centro storico.
There ar e many things should be mentioned in the description of this place, because not detailing them is misleading.

We explain the behavior of this guestat the arrival he said that he changed his plan and he had planned a tour for the day after with a person knew in the trip.He had a reservation for 5 nights and he asked us to change the reservation staying only 1 night and he wanted from us a reimbursement of the other 4 nights, and he'd have written a "nice review".This kind of blackmail is absolutely not acceptable, and not honest So finally he left the day after, not because our studio but because he had already planned the tour with his "new friend"He has totally invented the defects because is a review written as spite because we didn't accept to give to him money.

Couples Stay @ Sui Tetti Di Napoli
Posted 25 Sep 2022 on HotelsThe stay was overall okay. Air conditioning worked well, hot water worked, and bed was comfortable. On the bad side, the Wi-Fi was horrible, the mini fridge didn’t stay closed and was not very cool. Be aware sheets are changed every 7 days, and towels every 3. We had to ask the cleaning staff on the 4th evening for new towels because they didn’t come. All that being said, the service from Luigi was outstanding. He was extremely responsive and had to deal with our later than expected check in (2am) because of delayed flights. We had a single issue with the hot water being turned off and he worked it out over WhatsApp within 5 minutes. Overall great service from the host

Hi Williamwe are sorry that you complain that you -asked for changing the towels, -the internet was off for few hours because of the telephone company (not our fault), -you didn't close well the fridge because you put inside so many food and because of this you created the frozen inside.Instead of you should say many many many thanks because we met you at 2 am, absolutely over the regular time. In other b&b you couldn't check in

Difficult to find and big walk to the top but the views from the apartment were amazing. Nice clean apartment with good coffee.

A real stair stepping exercise
Posted 12 Sep 2019 on HotelsLocale is great with loads of charm. The room is clean, beds are comfortable, but area around beds is incredibly tight. This is really a room
For a couple and one child. I knew there were stairs and no lift but the stairs are tight, and very winding at the top.

The apartment is a studio in the Centro Storico, protected by UNESCO, so rarely you find buildings with elevator
If you want
Air, Light, View, Silence and you want a terrace you find them on the top floor
You need just to climb for 50-60 seconds and you enjoy of an amazing view.
Or you'd have preferred to stay at a 1st-2nd floor with
Noise, in the dark, in front of a wall of the building in front and less air?

Excellent Stay in Naples!
Posted 11 Sep 2019 on HotelsSui Tetti was an excellent apartment in Naples and the perfect oasis from Naples noise and crowd! I loved exploring the neighborhood surrounding the apartment - very walkable to major piazzas and the local subway stops.
The apartment was incredibly quiet and came with a small, wonderful balcony. The room was very clean and a firm bed (which I loved). Highly recommend for couples and solo travelers. Just note, that the apartment was at the top the apartment building (hence the quiet), with the last couple of flight of stairs being a bit steep. If you have trouble climbing stairs with luggage then consider booking elsewhere (no elevator).
