Hotel directly across from train terminal so very convenient for that. However the outside at night seems a bit scary so we didn’t go outside because of that. Hotel lobby, and rooms however are very nice!! So being in the hotel feels like you are in a different area and feel luxurious! So the convenience to train and hotel quality outweighs any outside issues at night!

The location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent! We had two day-trip excursions (Pompei and Amalfi) and the meeting point was just in front of this hotel which was so convenient. The subway station was also right there and historic sites were only 3 stops away-instead of paying 15 euros for one way trip, we took the subway (1.5 euro one way). We were not concerned about the safety since we took general cautions like in any other big cities. We will stay here again.

We arrived in Naples by air, followed the signs to the Alibus and paid our 5euro fares. One stop, 10 minutes later brought us to both the central train station and Starhotels Terminus. We had a deluxe room with a very large, comfortable bed and lots of storage and seating. There is a big bathroom and a sweet balcony overlooking the enclosed courtyard. It was so quiet you’d swear we were alone in the hotel. They have a pillow menu! You can request the perfect pillow from the desk. What a marvellous idea. I read a lot of online reviews about the area. We’re from Vancouver, Canada and it’s no different from the Main Street station. There are so many people here because of the train station so we felt safe. We were just passing through Naples. If you are looking for a longer stay check out the connecting city buses because this would be a nice hotel for a longer stay.

The staff is helpful. If you are doing anything other than taking the train it would be best to avoid the hotel as the surrounding area is unsafe. The only way to enter the hotel besides walking from the curb is the underground car park. No one is available to help with the bags and the rooms are noisy if facing the street.

Very clean. Literally steps from train station to room. Nice and helpful staff. Restaurants so close, pizza, pastries, groceries.
Very nice room and big bed! Room a little warm for me even with air on.
