An absolute perfect location. A block from the Colosseum, lots of amazing restaurants, very walkable. Safe location.
The apartment was large, and very Italian, very cute.
Couch was uncomfortable; cushions always slid from couch seat.
Shower was a bit small.
There is an iron in the unit but no ironing board.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Famalu Apartments. The property was clean, well managed and the host was very helpful in every way.
Something worth considering is the location of this property which, although close to the central station of Naples, it was not very clean around in the streets. However, the apartments are safe!

Bad drainage in toilet. Housekeeping did not fill up shower gel & bottles water. The towels are old & dirty. Easy to contact host with quick reply. The location is good near Napoli Centrale in walking distance.

Dear guest, contrary to what you wrote in the daily cleaning, we refill both the soap and the water in the refrigerator. I already told you that there must have been an error by the cleaner who forgot about it that day. As for the towels, we don't know that they are dirty or old, no one has ever complained about this.

Don’t be taken aback by the location. The neighborhood is not very clean and quite noisy around but the apartment itself is super safe and an extremely great proximity to the train station. Also, it’s very close to the airport. Lovely design and extremely clean apartment. I highly recommend this stay.

This property is six minutes away from Napoli Central in a somewhat sketchy neighbourhood. It is incredibly noisy outside the property. Once you get inside the property, it’s a complete 180. The property is an absolute gem. The room had a coffee machine although I couldn’t get mine to work on day two and three of my stay. The TV was perfect for my seven year old. The bed/comforter was comfortable. Plugs near the bed which was a plus. There’s ample storage option and a mini fridge. Croissants, cracker toast, jam and Nutella was served in your room for morning breakfast. I was also given two water bottles and a peach tea beverage every day. The room was incredibly clean. The cleanest out of the six properties I stayed at in Italy. The best part about this apartment was the bathroom/shower. Lots of space. Blow dryer was strong. Touch lighting on the mirror. Two shower head options. It honestly felt like a spa room. My dislike was that it was hard to move around in our room because the bed area was smaller and our bed was on a weird angle. Other rooms could be different. The front desk is limited to the hours of 10am - 2pm so if you have issues/questions outside of those hours, it could be more difficult to get a hold of someone. Overall, I would stay here again because of its close proximity to the station, supermarket, dining options and the AMAZING bathroom.

We spent $150 to stay for 14 minutes at this miserable property. I knew from the reviews that the neighborhood was sketchy, but we were fine with that. The problem was that the industrial disinfectant they used to clean the rooms was like walking into Chernobyl during the meltdown. When we brought it up to the property managers, they were very nice until we asked for our money back, at which point they said that we should have notified them that we had allergies. I don’t have allergies. I didn’t realize you had to tell someone that you had an adverse reaction to napalm and DDT and whatever else they were using to hide whatever can’t be taken care of by normal cleaning products. I hope the $150 we wasted helps you to avoid a similarly dismal fate. You’re welcome.

Dear guest, what you wrote seems absurd to me. Chernobyl? Seriously? All the products we use are classic scented products that are on the market and that everyone uses! You asked me for a refund, but why should I refund you? for a room that is too clean and fragrant? And what are you implying by “hiding everything that can't be eliminated by normal cleaning products”? what should we have hidden? As the owner I also came to check the room after you left and there was absolutely no excessive smell, no reason to leave the room and most of all no reason for this review! You simply found a clean, tidy and fragrant room, maybe you're not used to it I should think.It is the first time that a similar situation has happened to us, no guest has ever complained about the smell of the room and no one has ever been so rude in a review, fortunately I might add!
