Single worst hotel experience ever!

Worst hotel experience ever! My wife and I were traveling by bicycle and the hotel assured us that a parking garage nearby would accept the bikes. This was not the case and the "front desk" staff would do absolutely nothing to assist us. We had no choice but to leave and seek accommodation elsewhere. We ended up staying nearby at the OKKO hotel which was fantastic. I will avoid Mercure Hotels in the future.

During our discussions last August, we told you that we do not have a bicycle garage and we sent you the contact details of the website of the nearest car park. It is not correct to say that we have ensured that you will find space. We are glad that you have found satisfactory accommodation and hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your trip.

The room was bland for a Mercure hotel. Black walls, poor heating. Decent location but I expected more.

Bathroom needs to be repainted and deeply cleaned. There was mold in the shower and on the ceiling. Not what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel.
