Best hotel with valuable location
Nearby Okazaki castle.
Front of river.
Walking distance to excellent dinner locations.

The bath was nice, but they have 2 baths and the mens (mine) was small with no view, but the ladies (my wife's) was large with a sauna and a view of the castle. Breakfast was ok, neither good or bad, but the restaurant was nice with a nice view. My room was ok, but the bathroom did smell a little ripe. a little off putting, especially as it cost me ¥25,000.

Fine business hotel.
Posted 2 Oct 2018 on HotelsWe stayed here because we couldn’t make it across to our destination (Kyoto) because of a typhoon. So we holed up here last minute. What turned out to be brilliant was the Children’s Art Museum a short drive away; amazing food, fantastic craft activities, really brilliant interactive exhibition. As for the hotel, it’s got a slightly tired business vibe. Everything is fine. Breakfast was pretty good, but it’s all a bit average. The onsen was probably the best bit. Quite smart compared to the rooms, which are quite compact (especially the bathroom) and dated.
