Idyllic Stay in Tolo for Surrounding Sites
Posted 7 Sep 2021 on HotelsWe stayed at Heliotopos to see Epidavros, Nafplio and Mycenae - all are within half an hour of Tolo/the hotel and we used a car. The apartment had everything we needed and a great balcony overlooking the bay; we had dinner there one night and the view is gorgeous. A great feature is total light-blocking sliding door if you need to get over jet lag! The whole place was very clean, breakfast is very good with a wonderful variety and each staff person was cheerful and very helpful. European bath, so not so large, but king-sized bed made for great sleep and fridge kept our wine and cheese cold. Tolo is a quiet beach town with restaurants, bakeries and groceries. Very glad we chose Tolo and Heliotopos for our stay in this region of the Peloponnese!

Wonderful family run hotel with roof top pool!
Posted 15 Aug 2021 on HotelsThe location is fantastic, close enough to the water to walk but far enough away you don’t hear the noise. The hotel is very clean and well run. The roof top patio with pool and bar were perfect! Amazing views!! The sunrise from our patio was incredible. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The only area for improvement is the bed was not very comfortable.
