This property is showing for cheaper on booking.com but they say they never got my booking so I had to book through Expedia and paid more. The property is a lot nicer once you get inside. The balcony it states you have is the shared balcony that leads to the front door of your room. I thought it would be private. It would have been nice if there was a bigger dish washing rack for dishes, detergent to wash the dishes with and a fresh dish cloth. There was also no hot water which was really disappointing. It’s a little away from everything. There are little things that could make this place better. Even complementary sachets of tea and coffee etc. would be nice. The bed was comfy. Other than those issues I didn’t mind staying here. This place does have potential if someone put the effort in.

Run Down, No Staff, No Facilities

Posted 5 Apr 2018
Pros: The rooms are okay, very much like pictured.
Cons: SERVICE! Say hello to your guests? Have a formal check in procedure? Maybe put a sign up out the front?
Location: It is a 10min walk out of the centre of votualevu which has many supermarkets and is close to Nadi Events Centre (the reason we picked this place).
I have never arrived at a resort that the locals don't even know exist! We arrived by taxi to see that the exterior of the building is in shambles. There is not even a sign! The owner didn't even ask me for my name and just showed me to my room. We were not checked on once during the entire stay and they just left us to our own devices. When we left we didn't even know where to put the key as the whole place was locked up with no one home. We continually lost power and the water also turns off when the power is out. The place is eery and strange. If you stay here, make sure you hire a car as you will spend a fortune in taxi's getting too and from restaurants/activities if you are here for a while.

Small block of self contained suburban apartments.

Posted 10 Jul 2017
Pros: Interior comfort, location close to shops and Airport
Cons: The internet would not work and neither the TV channels. Was told that they were waiting for technicians to repair. Third foldaway bed not the best.
Location: Shops within walking distance, Nadi town and Airport approx. 15 minutes.
The apartment is located in the Suburb of Votualevu which is about 15 minutes drive from the Nadi Airport. It is located in the suburbs so you'll be living around the locals. The exterior appears as Works in progress, however the inside of the apartment is furnished really well with comfy bed, sofas, kitchen equipment, towels and Air-conditioning.

No idea we couldn't stay

Posted 7 Jul 2017
It was hard to find. We went to check in and no one was there we called the phone number in the door and she said go upstairs. The lady in that apartment was asleep and said there was no water and didn't ask if we still wanted to stay. We left and I still don't know how to get my money back. In conversation with the property manager via email she said that we booked so late that theybdisnt have one to tell us, but they'd emailed to let us know (both untrue). It did look nice through the window.

no internet or wifi the whole 7 days

Posted 22 May 2017
no wifi or internet the whole time. i chose the place and that was one of the top five reasons why. Staff are very reliable and kind. Only one air con unit worked satisfactory. Room was nice and large. Kettle didn't work...boiled water on gas element. No toaster. Hot water shower worked only sometimes. Roosters and dogs barking wake u up early...u dont need an alarm clock.

Watch out. It's not what it seems.

I'm always looking for gems when traveling and when I saw this property and read a few reviews I wanted to give it a try. Booked a couple of nights at the start of my biz trip into Fiji here. First, this place was extremely hard to find and there was no local number on website. When I called hotels.com I was placed on hold which resulted in all prepaid minutes being used up on cell phone. Their location on google map is off by almost 2 miles I'd say. Took me 1 1/2 hrs of speaking with locals and finally a tour company pointed me in right direction. Secondly, these apartments are located in an existing commercial building which looks very run down. I had request early check in which they'd agreed to but still have to wait 30 mins when I got there. No wonder they didn't put any pictures of the property on the web as it would scare all potential customers off. Thirdly, the interior was well set up and didn't look anything like the out side. But both my a/c & hot water didn't work which is major issues for me. The power and water also went out on Easter morning while I was in restroom so had to go to local McDonald's to do morning hygiene. They were suppose to move me to another room but that also didnt happen and when I came in late I had to wake up owner who seemed annoyed. All in all I ended up cancelling my 2nd booking here before I leave. Will not go back.

Could Not Locate

Posted 8 Apr 2017
Pros: Nothing. Could not find it!
Cons: Answer their phone!
We asked a taxi driver at Nadi Airport to take us to 'Apartments Fiji'. We had the address on our printed Expedia itinerary confirmation. The driver and many of the locals we asked, had no idea where the Apartments were and we could not locate it with the address provided. We tried to ring the hotel several times but they never answered. We gave up in the end and found another place to stay.

Crap

Posted 18 Feb 2017
We couldn't contact hotel before we left nz neither could Expedia, they told us to go anyway, so we flew to Fiji got to hotel which was closed!!! ,old car bodies out front rubbish everywhere nobody there, so after consoling my children who were very upset that we flew to another country and didn't have anywhere to stay I rang Expedia clocked up a $130. Ph bill while on hold so they could sort out a new hotel for us luckily the taxi company stayed with us for 2.5hrs until accommodation was sorted although I paid the taxi driver an extra $100 for waiting with us ,we also missed out on our first outing in fiji as it took so long to get accommodation so there goes another $300 dollars we couldn't get back ,we have received no contact from Expedia since then even though they said they would send us some type of voucher to be honest I won't be ever using Expedia again, also the add for hotel was misleading as it was nowhere near shops or anything for that matter and like I told them my wife has rheumatoid arthritis so we needed to be close to shops or town ,so good luck to anybody else using these services. A refund for all the drama and stress would have been nice

Nice apartment that's too far from town

Posted 18 Jan 2017
The rooms were well fitted out and very large for the rates paid. Unfortunately that is the only complaints that can be provided. The staff were terribly unhelpful. The rooms were dirty and full of roaches and mice. Do yourself a favour and stay at one of the well know resorts or a cardboard box on the side of the road.
