After numerous confirmations no one picked me up from the airport at 3:30 AM. Instead I had to walk through a dangerous neighborhood. The back door gate wouldn’t let me in so made me walk further with no lights on in the morning. When I arrived at the hotel they didn’t have my reservation, in fact I gave them the room number I was taking and the gentleman staying in there to check in earlier… Somehow they didn’t have the information. Instead, I had to take another room and resolve it the next morning. Expedia refused to refund me the money because the hotel refused to reply… Such an incredible experience

1 - dump and smelly room 2 - AC not working properly and kept switching off during very humid and hot days 3 - shower blocked - drain/sewage blocked which made it difficult amd unhygienic for standing in the flooded bathroom. 4 - very basic breakfast.

The property was great. However, I was told that I had to pay a city fee of 6500 FCFA after making my payment online via Expedia. This was disappointing because I was not informed by Expedia and neither was I informed by the receptionist on the day I was to lodge. It was after making enquiries to extend my stay that I was told that there was an outstanding balance to be made. I ended up paying more for the nights I booked through Expedia than for the nights I paid after my arrival to extend my stay.
