The best thing about the hotel was the view which was spectacular.
The internet was not great at all, not working most times and we experienced power cuts due to thunder and rain. Hotel staff were great.

We are sorry about the poor internet connection and understand your frustration. Due to the heavy rains during your stay we experienced many power cuts and these created internet connectively problems on top. Unfortunately, our options for improvement are limited as we depend on other service providers input.
We sincerely hope that at your next stay the power supply situation will have be better.

Sightseeing in the Eastern Highlands
Posted 26 Jun 2017All the staff and especially Bright and Joseline were outstanding in the level of service they gave. It was a truly amazing experience staying here. I was treating my 90 year old grandmother a special weekend getaway and they accommodated us so dearly. Our chalet was beautiful, grand, spacious and immaculate. The food was delicious, we did not have a single mediocre meal. The place itself is magical and so relaxing. Look forward to making this trip again in the future.

Pros: overall clean condition and good staff
enjoyed our stay at the lodge. the accommodations were very nice and well kept. private and away from other units. clean and spacious. firewood was supplied. staff was helpful. food at restaurant was generally good except a beef fillet that I ordered was not good quality and had too much fat and gristle. breakfast was a combination of buffet and hot food to order. overall good place and I would stay there again

Posted 27 Apr 2016 on HotelsWe stayed in a lodge and although we knew there were over guests on site we didn't hear them in the mornings all you heard were the birds singing. The staff were very helpful and friendly the lodge was very clean. I would go back there when I am in Zimbabwe again. The lodge is about 32 KM outside Mutare. Good value for money.

Nice hotel not very far from Harare

Pros: I'd like the location, the chalet is very spacious and very well equipped and furnished.The chalet, very clean
Cons: The internet connection.
Location: The location is very calm, in the hill and isolated. It's very good place to stay for few days with family and friends.
Very pleasant place, calm and very clean. The best way is to bring and cook food. There is also a Brai place to enjoy with friends and family.

Spectacular View

Pros: Beautifully decorated, excellent service, great food at the restaurant, kind helpful staff, amazing view, clean rooms!
Cons: I can't even think of anything. It was great!
Location: We were only there overnight, but the lodge had a list of hikes and things to do in the area.
We had a one night stay at the Musangano Lodge. We arrived late at night, and they woke up and came to meet us with a smile. They were so kind. The family lodge we were put in was a three bedroom, full kitchen, large living area. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated with traditional African decor! We woke up and were shocked to find the spectacular view of the valley right off the front porch. There were nice chairs to sit in, on the porch, and we just sat and took it all in. We had breakfast at the restaurant they had there, and it was also beautifully decorated and the food was wonderful. The service was excellent, both at the restaurant and the reception area. Check out was easy and they were so kind and helpful. Overall it was an absolute joy to stay there and we wished we had more time there. I cannot say enough to recommend this Lodge!! It was absolutely amazing!!
